Rather sad news this time, two Obituaries.

 

I’m sorry to report the death of Colin Rudd who died on 21st December 2024.

Colin had been a BJC member for many years and being a musician had played at both the Bude Jazz Club and Bude Jazz Festival over the years.

 

There will be a Thanksgiving Service at Appledore Baptist Church on the 17th January starting at 11.00am.  No formal dress is required for the service and if you are unable to attend on the day there will be a livestream/recording available with this link: https://youtube.com/live/PhIdcwUa3js?feature=share

Sadly I have to inform you that Martin Bennett, (Jazz Trombone and Piano) has passed away peacefully in his sleep. Many will remember that Martin was the father of Richard and Russell (Russ). Sadly Russ passed away in 2015, something no parent should experience.​
